Frequently asked questions
Do I need to visit at a specific time?
No fixed time slot — your ticket is date-specific rather than timed, so it's valid any time during opening hours on the day you choose. Just arrive within opening hours on your selected date.
Is this a skip-the-line ticket?
Your admission is reserved and confirmed before you arrive, so you go straight in with your mobile ticket rather than queuing at the desk. There's no timed entry to coordinate — you choose the day, we handle the booking.
What's included in the ticket?
Full access to the château, including the Galerie des Illustres with its 327 portraits, and the full 40-hectare park and gardens, including the Jardin des Portraits and the rose garden. It's one ticket covering the whole estate for the day.
How and when do I get my ticket?
We send your ticket to your email as a mobile ticket with a QR code once your booking is confirmed. There's nothing to print — show it on your phone at the entrance.
How do I get to Château de Beauregard?
The château is in Cellettes, about 10 km south of Blois — a 15-minute drive, or a short taxi ride from Blois-Chambord station. It's also close to Cheverny and Chambord, making it easy to combine with other Loire châteaux.
How long does a visit take?
Most visitors spend one and a half to two hours exploring the château and gardens — longer if the rose garden or the Jardin des Portraits particularly interest you. There's no fixed schedule, so you set the pace.
Is Château de Beauregard good for children?
Yes. The Galerie des Illustres tends to capture children's imaginations with its rows of painted kings and queens, and the 40-hectare park gives plenty of room to run around outdoors after the indoor visit.
Who qualifies for the student price?
The student rate covers visitors aged 14 to 25. Bring valid student ID or other proof of age to the gate — our student ticket is priced for this category.
Are young children free?
Yes — children under 5 enter free. Our child ticket covers ages 5 to 13, and the family tickets cover 2 adults with either 2 or 3 children in that age range.
What does the family ticket include?
We offer two family tickets: one for 2 adults and 2 children aged 5–13, and one for 2 adults and 3 children aged 5–13. Both include full access to the château and gardens, and both work out cheaper than buying separate adult and child tickets.
Is the château accessible for visitors with limited mobility?
Largely, yes. The gardens and ground-floor rooms, including the Galerie des Illustres, are generally accessible, though some park paths are gravel and a few interior thresholds are not step-free. Contact the château ahead of your visit for guidance on the best route.
Can I take photos inside the château?
Yes, personal photography is welcome throughout the château and gardens. Flash and tripods may be restricted in the Galerie des Illustres to protect the 17th-century portraits and tiled floor, and staff on site will advise where that applies.
Is Château de Beauregard open all year?
No — the château and gardens are open daily from 3 April to 11 November 2026, then close for the winter. Hours vary by season, running longest in July and August.
What is the Galerie des Illustres?
A 26-metre gallery holding 327 portraits of the kings, queens and statesmen who shaped French political history from 1328 to 1643, painted under a lapis-lazuli ceiling and set above a floor of 5,500 Delft tiles depicting a marching army. It's the château's signature room and the reason most visitors come.
Is the château and its garden the same ticket, or separate?
Our ticket covers both — the château, including the Galerie des Illustres, and the full 40-hectare park and gardens. You don't need to buy them separately.
Can I change my mind after booking?
Because admission is date-specific, please choose your travel date with care when you book. All sales are final once confirmed; the only exception is a full refund if the operator cancels your visit. See our terms for the full policy.
Are you the official château ticket office?
No. We're an independent concierge service for international visitors. We obtain a genuine admission ticket on your behalf and handle the booking in your own language. Our service fee is included in the price shown, and you can always buy directly from the château if you prefer.
What currency am I charged in?
The price you see is the price you pay — we show it in your local currency where we can and charge exactly that amount, with no surprise fees at checkout. Payment is by card on a secure page.
